Web Design
I have created over a dozen websites and am familiar with creating dynamic sites using XHTML, CSS, and PHP. Since my time is limited, I am unable to provide frequent maintenance for the sites that I create and therefore usually provide training to those clients that would like to be able to edit their own site.

Training
Many computer savvy people like to throw around cryptic acronyms and terminology that confuse others and create the impression of elitism. I have years of experience tutoring clients of all skill levels and make an effort to explain in understandable terms how things work and draw analogies to other non-computer situations to provide meaning and association. I believe that the mark of a good teacher is the ability to explain the same thing in multiple ways and I strive to achieve this at all times.

Upgrades
Is your iMac getting a little long in the tooth? I can help you determine which upgrade would provide the greatest benefit for your dollar. I can explain your situation in layman's terms so that you can understand how and why certain upgrades are better than others to allow you to make informed buying decisions. I can also help you with planning for expanding your office setup and advise on the necessary equipment for scanners, video cameras, printers and audio processors.

Migration planning
Are you a first time Mac user? I can help you make sense of the Mac interface. Being a frequent Windows user myself, I'm familiar with the differences between the two platforms and can draw comparisons to better explain them to you. I can also help you transfer your data from your old computer to your new Mac.
